It is a fact that children learn through play.
I have created these vocabulary games to help children remember some key autumn vocabulary, all whilst having fun.
I like to set them up as different stations. The children can work through them in groups of 2-4.
The game cards can be used for various activities: pairs, old maid, change places, go fish etc.
The game of 'I have got ... Who has got ...?' works best as a whole class. Shuffle and deal all the cards. Each children gets a card. The player with the first card begins: I have got the first card. Who has got the acorn? The child with the acorn card continues.
