This six weeks unit was created to deal with TEKS objective 4(10),
Personal Financial Literacy. I wanted the students to have to actually
write a check, make deposits, but not be able to do so until a
challenging word problem or bar graph had been answered. There are
5 lessons per week. In my classroom, I used the guided practice and
