I have typed the text dependent questions in a word document. I post them to Google Classroom, so each student receives their own copy and is able to answer the questions online. These are directly from the Benchmark Advance units in the fifth grade curriculum.

Non-Fiction Graphic Organizer
Do your students struggle with Reading Comprehension? This is a strategy I teach my exceptional education students to do for Non-fiction (Informational) readings. This is a type of graphic organizer I use and have the students use when reading non-fiction texts. You will need to teach your kiddos the difference between fiction and nonfiction, but I also have a resource for that! This graphic organizer helps students answer those difficult standards-base question stems.
