5th Grade Classification Zoo Project Rubrics BUNDLE
I used this in my fifth grade classroom this year with great success! After studying animal classification (S5L1 in the Georgia Standards), students got into groups and each had a different responsibility/task. I used this as my summative assessment in place of a paper/pencil test.

A 4-part research project about a body system. Students research the system and carry out an experiment or create a demonstration or model related to the system and its function. All information is collected, organized and shared in a presentation. Slides include rubrics for assessing the video and presentation. Slides can be shared with students for them to collect their information digitally, or they can be printed out for students to write notes manually.
