ANCIENT GREECE: Challenging Middle School Resources
The Ancient Greece packet contains a variety of materials. Although not a stand-alone unit, it is intended to supplement and complement the resources you already have. It contains notes on geography and history, some quizzes, an abridged version of Plato's "Myth of Gyges," an activity to evaluate online games, a word search, and more. I made this reading strategy sheet for my 8th graders, but it could be used at any grade level to reinforce their knowledge of reading terms and vocabulary. It's aligned with Texas TEKS which are very close to Common Core Standards. I gave it to my students the first week of school, and we used it almost every day as a reference. Plus, I didn't have to make another study sheet or vocabulary list every time we had a test. They would just pull out the strategy sheet and be good to go!

This is a word template I made for one of my tutees that struggles with writing, but can use a keyboard.
