I wanted to introduce the election process to without getting too hung up in all the details. I wanted it to be fun and hands on and I wanted the child to be able to reference his work and "teach" others from it. A lapbook sounded like the perfect idea to accomplish this. This lapbook briefly explains electoral votes. A pocket holds 53 cards. There are 48 cards representing 48 states with the number of electoral votes each state can give. There are 2 each of Nebraska and Maine with a blank space
