This pledge can be said as a rhythmic rap or a poetry style pledge. It reminds the students every day to be a good person, and a good American! Each student can receive a copy of the pledge, and hang it up as a poster in your classroom. They will look forward to saying it every day! Repetition is the mother of learning. Have a great year of learning. You can have one child in the front of the room leading the rap every morning. This is a good quick oral character activity.
