Description
The Executive Branch powerpoint presentation, worksheet and "quick facts" questions included in this bundle work together to provide your students with an introduction to the Executive Branch of the United States government. Designed to teach, engage discussion and spur curiosity, you can use these resources to fill a classroom group discussion block or assign your students this lesson as a take-home individual learning assignment.
Designed to work together, the "quick facts" and powerpoint presentations mirror each other and allow the worksheet to be filled in while working through the powerpoint presentation.
The student self-paced lesson and worksheet provides an overview of what the Executive Branch is, what it does, why it’s even there, how the President got there, what the Presidents' limitations of power are, and why it’s such an important part of the United States government.
At the end of each section there are “further research” questions for the students to answer, as well as a few group discussion questions designed to facilitate engaging conversations among your fellow students relating to the Executive Branch to deepen everyone’s understanding of this important part of our government.
