Do you or someone in your class have to have surgery? Use this "What is Surgery" book to help ease their minds. The unknown can be very scary for little kids. This book explains surgery in a kid-friendly way that will help them understand the process a lot better. And, when they know more about it, it seems a lot less scary. Also included in this pack is a treat bag note to leave for your students on the first day of your medical leave to let them know you're thinking of them. Thanks! Katie Mens

This is a great tool to use when planning a guided reading lesson. I used it with my First Graders when planning and during our guided reading time. It is great because you can print it on one page back to back and file in a Guided Reading binder. Everything from that lesson is all on one page, including students' progress and next steps. This form was made for the McGraw Hill Wonders Units but can be used for any guided reading planning. Enjoy!
