100 First Grade Picture Sight Word Flash Cards

This product is an addition to my free Kindergarten Sight Word product and the Kindergarten/First grade sight word list. At my school several years ago, we used the Literacy First program. While we no longer use it, I still find their list of sight words very helpful. They were divided into Lists A, B, and C. My Kindergarten/First grade sight word product is essentially List A. This is list B and we used it specifically for first grade, but it applies to advanced kindergartners and delayed

This is a printout use to make two shape houses (they are the same color) using different colored contact paper. This is used in the building study with the Creative Curriculum. I printed out on white paper and then stuck the colored contact paper wanted for each piece in copy machine one at a time to make sure each piece turned out the color I wanted. The picture you see for the thumbnail is when it is printed on different colored contact paper. In word it does not look like might much as it is

This is the lesson plan template I created in collaboration with my SPED Admin. after not being able to find the right fit for me! This download just includes Monday and is NOW editable, but it will give you a good base and lots of ideas and, hopefully, inspiration! While the prep work for this lesson plan did take a lot of thought and a lot of time, it has helped me tremendously and made lesson planning so much more intentional and smooth. Distance Learning Special Education Reading Life Skills Functional Vocabulary

This functional vocabulary packet will help our students in special education better navigate our world. Words are everywhere, and understanding what we read is essential to our daily lives. I’ve focused on the most useful words we use throughout our day so that our students may more readily recognize them. Separated into four sections, these words cover the areas of: Safety/Community Helpers, Workplace, Around Town, and Around Home. Each section contains two parts with 6 terms, for a total of 4

3rd person singular and plural sentence completion

Many of my students confuse singular and plural forms of 3rd person present tense verbs. This activity presents sentences in direct contrast. Each sentence pair uses the same activity, but one sentence targets a singular subject and the other targets a plural subject. I would start out by presenting 2-3 models myself and then allow the students to engage in sentence completion. At first, you may need to give them the two choices. (ex. sleep, sleeps) and let them choose which to put in each
