This task uses Australian websites to guide students through an investigation into their life expenses when they leave home.
Part web-quest, part calculations, students are required to investigate their average income, the tax payable and the net income.
They are then directed to sites to help them determine the cost of a car, the rates of interest if they take a loan for the car, the cost of car expenses such as registration and fuel as well as the cost of rent and utilities.

Using the Australian Taxation Office's websites and online calculators and information to answer some questions relating to different scenarios of people earning income and their deductions.
Gets students to research different work related expenses, what you can and cannot claim, how to claim vehicle costs etc.

Memorial Day and Military WebQuest Distance Learning
This WebQuest can be assigned as a multiple day project for students on Google Classroom (or any school platform). There are four parts to the quest, each of which takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. It is on a Google Doc, so it can easily be edited/differentiated for your level of student.
