After reading each chapter, students will determine what the protagonist was trying to accomplish, which will help them to determine the conflict/antagonist. They will analyze other literary terms such as irony, motif, and symbol. This resource provides a symbol for each chapter that they have to analyze. Doing this for each chapter will help to build their comprehension of the text and to determine the theme of the book.
