Steinbeck Of Mice and Men Chapters 5-6 Dictation Matching Vocab Test (20 Words)
This is meant to be a dictation test that can be rewritten with words in different orders for retakes. The idea is for students to get the words written down quickly after you've said them each 2-3 times so you can do other things while they take the time to match them. To grade, I suggest going through the spellings first, weighting them less than the correct definitions. I usually do 1 point/spelling and 2 points/definition for a total of 60 pts.
