I use these two listings together in one lesson. I start with the presentation that teaches students how to put letters and words in alphabetical order. Then I immediately have them split into groups and apply their new knowledge by completing the sorting activity. I am a librarian and use this to start the process of teaching students how to find books in the library and how to shelve books!
