Hand-washing sign with real pictures for classroom
This is a hand-washing sign for classroom. I have it posted just behind the sink and on the paper towel dispenser. To make cut out pictures, glued steps 1-6 on a sentence strip, laminate, and taped other pictures on paper towel dispenser. The pictures on the paper towel dispenser show the students how much paper towels to get and where it goes. I teach prek and teach this in a small group of 5 kids each at the begin of the year. Desk Behavior Tracker Penny Chart
This Penny chart will help track individual student behavior. This is great for students that struggle with keeping up with daily routines and expected behavior.
Cut out each card laminate and tape to desk.
Velcro the back of plastic or real pennies. Place penny on the chart for every specific behavior that you have selected for the student to work on. For example: Turning in homework and doing morning work=1 penny... etc. After 5 pennies they can go to the treasure box.

Prompting Visual for Staff Working with Individuals with Special Needs
This is a visual of a general prompt hierarchy to display in the classroom. Prompts are ordered in terms of their degree of intrusiveness with full physical prompts described as most intrusive. This visual is a useful reminder for staff and a quick way to provide information to substitutes and other adults coming into the classroom to work with students. Small group rules- listening, looking, hands in lap
There are three simple rules that use for small groups daily. When I start my group I have them say the rules together. I always have a clip board during small groups so I cut them and tape them on the back. I point to them as they say them. They evidently don't need to say them or even be reminded of them. This greatly helps with the students that come to small groups and always wants to touch whats on the table.
