This fun and interactive jeopardy game is designed with Order of Operations in mind. It was originally created for a 5th grade class. The categories included are "Solve That" which are just questions with basic PEMDAS computation. The second category of "Describe the Steps" asks students to explain what you would do next or how to solve problems when there is addition and subtraction (left to right). XY Coordinates Game
These are slide shows that use X,Y coordinates to create images. The students use this fun activity to practice plotting coordinates. The game actually creates a desire to do another one, which is always my goal as a teacher. You will need to click your mouse for the next slide, because it takes some students longer to graph the coordinates. Each slide is formatted with 7 seconds between coordinates.
