Evolution- Why We Teach It Slides and Parent Letter
Teaching Evolution can cause some students to shut down, but by using these slides I was able to get everyone on board with learning the concept, and even had two religious families thank me for doing this during parent conferences. I created this as a little booklet to send home on the first day to give parents an idea of what to expect this year. Totally editable as you need it to be. I included things like topics of focus, supply check, homework policy, lab safety info, about the teacher page, and a parent contact/important student info page.
