Multi-step equation task cards
This activity consists of 20 multi-step equation task cards. These cards range in difficulty and would be best used at the beginning of a unit after a few days of introduction for practice. They can be used as a pass the problem activity with groups or hung up around the room for a get out of your seat activity. This is a 5 page packet that includes a 100s chart. Each page other than the one with the 100s chart asks 6 questions about the 100s chart. The first asks what number is MORE than. Direct Proportion Question Posters
This is a nice activity that breaks down direct proportion problems for low ability groups. I have put these around the classroom and then got students to work in pairs trying to complete them. The answers are at the bottom of each poster, which I fold up and stick down so the students can not see them until they are ready to check their answers.

ACT TRACKER (HIGH/LOW--FAST/SLOW)
This is an ACT tracker that I created for my students on Publisher. I call it high/low--fast/slow. We practice two of each piece on the Reading portion of the test and do a "Quick Write" or "Power Write" in between each. This allows students to keep track of their scores and word count and at the end of the unit they can determine which pieces they do best on and what particular order they should do them in on the real ACT test.
