Cooperative Learning Strategy cards

These are cooperative learning strategies created by Kagan. I simply made a reference card to introduce to the students and post on your wall for future reference. The have a title of the strategy, a picture and description of the strategy at the bottom. You can print them as a full page of smaller to use as flash cards.

Multi-step equation task cards
This activity consists of 20 multi-step equation task cards. These cards range in difficulty and would be best used at the beginning of a unit after a few days of introduction for practice. They can be used as a pass the problem activity with groups or hung up around the room for a get out of your seat activity. Common Core: Understanding 100s Chart Packet; Fill in the Boxes; Special Ed
This is a 5 page packet that includes a 100s chart. Each page other than the one with the 100s chart asks 6 questions about the 100s chart. The first asks what number is MORE than. The second asks what number is LESS than. The third has students filling in the boxes before and/or after in that same horizontal row. This is a nice activity that breaks down direct proportion problems for low ability groups. I have put these around the classroom and then got students to work in pairs trying to complete them.
