Sleigh Ride Hand Jive visual support
This is a visual to support the learning of the "Sleigh Ride Hand Jive" shown in You Tube clips. It was used to help students with autism to learn the routine, but will help anyone learning to do the jive with the song. Rhythm Connect Four Game
This is a fun way for students to practice reading rhythm patterns, and to reinforce the concept of four-beat patterns. Show on the smart board and have the whole class play in teams, or have smaller groups of students play as a music centers game.
This game is played just like a real Connect Four game, as students drag and drop colored chips into spaces on a board. Once a player or team gets four in a row, they have to read the rhythm pattern correctly for it to count as a win!
