Connect 4 Game Simplifying Monomials Review
This game consists of up to 30 questions for a friendly classroom game of connect 4. This game is easily adapted to other topics as well. (You can easily change this to simplifying monomials and polynomials!)

Factoring With Algebra Tiles
This SMART Notebook file leads through two Algebra lessons on factoring polynoials with Algebra tiles. The first lesson uses tiles to factor out a monomial from a polynomial (also called factoring out a GCF or Greatest Common Factor). The second lesson uses tiles to factor quadratic trinomials. Notes are provided on how I use them in my classroom.

Students fill in the missing boxes that make the equations true. These puzzles review factoring while also incorporating multiplying and dividing expressions.
This is a fun activity for the students and they don't even know they are factoring :)

Distributive Property - An Introduction
This Smartboard lesson introduces Distributive Property to students in a hands-on fashion. Students are given the opportunity to see that Distributive Property involves product factors and are able to create patterns, using movable blocks, that allow them to create the different factor models that can be used to create a product.
