This is a free printable for my body percussion card sets. This printable as well as the cards contain the basic four body percussion activities SNAP, PAT, CLAP, and STOMP. The cards can be used to introduce body percussion or as a visual reminder in students' folders. I like to print out various sets of the smaller cards and have students 'compose' in small groups or at a center. They love it! Make sure to check out my other body percussion products!

Body Percussion/Movement Ostinato Cards

Movement is a great way for students to feel rhythm and prepare rhythmic elements. It’s also a great way to incorporate partwork. These cards are great for preparing simple rhythms with younger students but also great for working on ostinato patterns through body percussion. Included in this set are 20 different ostinato cards, available in color and in black in white. Additionally, there are small, medium and large cards that you can print and use for building your own ostinatos or rhythmic pa

Music Classroom Rules are as Easy as EGBDF! - Free Classroom Rules Posters

I wanted a set of classroom rules posters that were simple, musical, and easy for students to understand. My hope is that these easy classroom rules help set the tone for our classroom environment and also remind kiddos of the content that they're learning every day. I wanted to take advantage of EGBDF and FACE and incorporate them into the rules, so that every time we go over the rules we're also going over notes on the lines and spaces. Included in this set:1 Poster that says "Our rules are

Steal the Banana is a fun and competitive game for upper elementary and even middle school students to practice reading rhythms. This set was made with the intention to be used with older beginners. You could definitely use it with the little ones if you want to, but it is such a fun game, my recommendation it to save it for your upper elementary and middle school kids. Two teams compete to collect the most bananas for their team, but watch out! The other team may steal your bananas! This set
