RayLee's Schoolhouse

Leeanne has 5 years of teaching experience in K-2 special education, and now special education preschool. Ray has 5 years of teaching experience in elementary music (PK-5).

Leeanne: Hands on learning guided by student interests and needs. Ray: Mostly Kodaly based music curriculum with integration of Literacy, Math, and other Arts.

We had a kindergarten student that came in with a relatively severe cognitive delay 3 years ago. By the end of his first year, he was still struggling with letter identification. Leeanne provided resource room services and Ray has had him in music all 3 years. This year, he read and sang a solo on stage at our 1st and 2nd grade concert!! Shining teacher(s) moment!! =)

Leeanne completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Ashland University and holds teaching licenses in Elementary (PK-3) as well as Special Education (PK-3). She recently earned a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. Ray received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Otterbein College, and his Master of Music Education degree from the Kodaly Institute at Capital University and Kodaly Certification are almost complete.

We met while teaching in Central Ohio and married in June 2012. We love to share ideas and help each other to integrate music into Lee's preschool classroom, as well as literacy and math into Ray's music classroom. Our products are a variety of PK-3 materials, elementary music materials, and a combination of the two.
