Pilgrim and Wampanoag Perspectives of The First Thanksgiving | Point of View

I use this product when I am either absent or for small group work on Fun Fridays. The questions allow my students to engage with the magazine using skills we have learned in our reading curriculum for nonfiction texts. This can also be used for early finisher work or as a team or class points if it is completed the right way the first time (kids follow directions, write in complete sentences, answer ALL questions).

Kids know Chad Boseman, but really only know him as the Black Panther, but he was so much more than that. This is great for close reading, finding main idea and key details, authors purpose, summary writing, and much more. It lends itself well to Black History month, but can be used at any point during the year.
