Description

In this fully editable lesson, students will read two different perspectives of the first Thanksgiving: one factual and one with common myths.    To extend this activity students can compare and contrast the texts.  Then the teacher can provide them with the factual account so students can decide which reading aligns with it.  Students must use details from the readings and images to support their opinions of whose story is more accurate, and whether or not we should celebrate Thanksgiving each year.
