This fourth grade close reading and writing bundle features 10 days of standards aligned and ready to use materials on the Christopher Columbus and Native Americans. In this mini unit, students focus on point of view to determine what is Christopher Columbus’ point of view on the Native Americans and did Christopher Columbus believe that he was HELPING or HURTING the Native Americans. In doing so, students build upon their skills of analyzing and gathering information.
