Students are required to show prior knowledge, must use a dictionary to discover meaning and part of speech, are challenged to write synonyms and antonyms, and provide a strong sentence demonstrating the meaning of the word. This is an excellent resource to develop and better understand new vocabulary words as required by Common Core. One page is an example and the other a blank for student use.

Great for small groups or individual study.
