Parent Letter ~ Classroom Snacks with Peanut Allergy
Peanut allergies are very common, and require special attention in the schools. If you have a student with a peanut allergy, this parent letter is perfect when asking for classroom snacks. Just print and go! Parents don't have time to search labels checking to see if items were manufactured in the same facility as peanuts/peanut oil. Approved by a nurse for my former student's 504, I kept this letter on file for easy access, especially to place in new students' folders. The list of snacks was

Tooth Fairy Note
Cute note to fill out for students to give to their parents or to leave out for the tooth fairy when they have lost a tooth at school.
I sticky tape the tooth to the note so my students don't lose it. (see the arrow)

Hang this sign on your door anytime you have a child with peanut allergies or egg allergies. It will remind parents and students to keep the room peanut free and/or egg free.
Also include are parent notes kindly asking that all whole class party treats be peanut free and/or egg free. It can be sent home at the beginning of the year and anytime you are having a class party.

Create bathroom passes with hand sanitizer bottles by using these labels created by Marianne Patterson.
