Allergy Awareness Reading Food labels
This activity gives the students practice reading food labels to determine if the food would be safe for individuals with various food allergies. There are two different levels. The first level has pictures for the early readers. The second level contains labels to read with no pictures.
These activities can also be bought as an Allergy Awareness Unit which is designed for a school-wide allergy awareness week.

It is state law in Illinois and at least 19 other states that each year every student in grades K-12 will receive instruction defining sexual abuse and ways to get help. As fantastic as this law is, I have yet to find affordable and effective lesson plans on safe and unsafe touch. I try to provide you an outline here and some activities that you can modify for grades K-9th grade.

Take Care of Yourself--The Happy Tooth
This song and worksheet teach healthy habits. You can use the MP3 to learn and sing the song and make a darling tooth puppet wo use while you sing as a class or just at home when you brush your teeth! This song is tried and true from my students to my own kids. Enjoy!
