Use Power Point to Create Seating Charts
There are many tools available to create a seating chart. I have tried many of them, but I find that a simple Power Point system works best for me.
Power Point allows me to see all of my charts at once, edit them very quickly, move students around with a simple click-and-drag, and print them all with the touch of a button.
I write on my charts, and move students around a lot, so Power Point allows me to update my classroom chart easily and print fresh charts whenever I need them.

Permiso / Spanish Bathroom and Hall Pass
Do your students ask to leave class too often? Do they need help asking for permission to leave class in Spanish?
I photocopy these on colored paper and cut them out. There are 8 passes on a sheet. In my class, students receive 2 passes per quarter, but you could do more or less depending on your students.
Students hand these in to me when they need to go to the bathroom, get water, go to their locker, etc.
In my class, students who don't use their Permisos can cash them in for bonus points
