The Declaration of Independence Pt I Paraphrased - Matching Activity
Students can work collaboratively or independently to read and annotate excerpts from Pt. 1 of The Declaration of Independence. Then, students identify the matching paraphrases and cut & paste below the corresponding excerpt. I would suggest modeling the first excerpt for your students.
