Wonderful document for recording family facts and memories. This is a culture assignment that will be treasured for who knows how long. I hand out as extra credit, but I strongly encourage their use... where else will this information ever be captured? Students just ask questions of parents and grandparents. It tests them on their comprehension of the vocabulary learned and it gives them a chance to be creative. There are 19 instruction that tell them what the monster they have to draw looks like. For example:
