Use this sheet as you go through my Introduction to MyPlate powerpoint. Students will label and color the sections of MyPlate. There is space to record two essential definitions, variety and balance, which are included in the powerpoint for discussion. The bottom of the page has a spot to review examples of different foods that satisfy the different foods in my plate. I like to hand out toy food or food picture cards and have students place them in the correct section of MyPlate on an enlarged-size model.
