Somewhere in the 70s, I was given a stack of French 45s. "Mon frère, le poisson" had no sleeve or label. But what a gift for French teachers looking to make kids sit up, pay attention, and giggle.I've lovingly trundled this warped little song with me throughout my career, with delicious results in virtually all of my classes. There's a creditable cover of Adele's "Hello" available in French!
If your students are fans of the Adele's "Hello", try this "fill-in-the-blanks" activity for the cover by Sara'h.

French - Chanuka -I have a Little Dreidle In French
Complete translation of the Chanuka Song "I have a Little Dreidle" into French. Note: the word top = toupie in French. Students will enjoy singing this rousing song "J'ai un petit dreidle." The words and melody go well together. You can even add a little "Ohh......." to cue in the singers they are to start. The use of the french word Alors! is well placed. Uses past tense of faire, and the future prôche.
