An interesting and engaging way to introduce or reiterate the achievements of Alexander the Great is through song! Have students listen to a school appropriate classic metal song. Challenge students to analyze the importance of the lyrics by making observations and asking questions about the content of the lyrics. I recommend providing students with a video that has lyrics of the classic Iron Maiden song when you play it.
