Be Like a Tree 101 is an interactive series of seven short videos with original songs describing different aspects of trees: trees in history, the many blessings we get from trees, dangers of wildfires, love of trees, the secret lives of trees, roots in the underground, and the many different types of trees. Music was an important part of the Civil RIghts Movement.Having students analyze song lyrics can increase interest and participation while connecting them to culture. The corresponding questions relate to course content like symbolism, theme, figurative language, direct text evidence, allusion, and the Civil Rights Movement.The formatting may look a little wonky on a Word Document.I recommend putting this on a GoogleDoc and setting it to "pageless."

Preposition Song
