Retelling Puppets (I put these in my drama center, the kids love making puppets). Students color and cut out puppets, then glue to craft sticks to use for retelling the story. If you want to change things up you could have students punch a hole in the top of the puppet to make a retelling necklace.

Tacky The Penguin the Musical Original Script
A complete script adapted from the favorite children's book "Tacky the Penguin" by Helen Lester. Could be used as reader's theater or as a complete production. Can be used for as few as 15 or as many as 70 children. Includes lyrics to songs. This play was performed at my school with 60 kindergarteners and was a huge success.
