How a Bill Becomes a Law - Full Lesson/Simulation
This is a full lesson plan for how a bill becomes a law. I have the full written out lesson plan (objective, student will, teacher will, etc) as well as all the materials needed for the lesson. This includes: role/task cards, mock congress sheet, powerpoint, exit ticket and lesson plan.
My students really loved this, as it was a real-life simulation. It was important to explain the expectations beforehand and it ran smoothly. The kids had so much fun coming up with their own laws to "pass" in
