Erik Erikson Stages of Development Project
According to Erikson, each person must navigate through a series of interrelated stages in their life cycle. The key idea in Erikson's theory is that every individual will face a conflict at each stage, which may or may not be successfully resolved.
In this project, students will be researching one of Erik Erikson’s Stages of Development and creating a poster. Upon completion of this project, students will give a presentation on your stage.

This handout includes the guidelines and expectations, as well as rubric, for a research assignment. I give this assignment after we have completed the human body chapter on the nervous system, but the psychology teacher has used it in her class, as well. Students enjoyed having choice and were highly interested in their topics, as well as hearing about others.

For a fun break in my Psychology class, I assign this short project. It gives students a choice to look in to some "popular" psychology topics. The topics are all very interesting. In the 1st step, students choose one of the many topics. Then they listen to their classmates do their very short speeches.
