If your school does not have a subscription to PebbleGo, I would recommend reading a non-fiction book about spiders to your students. I have some suggested non-fiction books in the packet. Free OPAC Scavenger Hunt
Teach your students how to use the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) and have them practice by utilizing this scavenger hunt. Students will look for books in different categories and record both the title of the books and the call numbers. I have students work in groups and I give the first group to finish a small prize (pencils, bookmarks or 5 points on the next assessment).
