This one page handout has students compare two different paintings of the same subject, "Washington Crossing the Delaware". There are sentence frames that support the writing for English Language Learners. It is a good tool to get students to notice/practice describing artistic style and to use details from the art to support their statements. These two paintings are good discussion starters for a history lesson as well in regards to slavery.

To make this editable for another project, make a copy in google docs using the link in the document. Thank You and enjoy! Let me know any comments or concerns!
