Students will use worksheets / handouts to analyze poems independently and then work collaboratively to discuss their findings and improve their understanding of 8 poems. Students should be asked to present answers to the class upon completion of individual and group work. Short Stories Literature Circles for High School
This particular literature circle works well with a mixed ability class - in my case it was a sophomore ICS class - and we received great results for the kids. Each student chose a role based on his/her ability.
