Apple Unit Preschool No Worksheets Head Start Approved
This is the apple unit I currently use for preschool. Our school system does not allow worksheets in preschool (as it shouldn't) so here are some create ways to focus on a lot of tasks without them! This unit focuses on literacy, math, and science! With guides for planning days and a step-by-step guide for each day including large group, two small groups, review topics, and assessments. All you need is one planning day and you will have two weeks worth of quality apple fun!

Thankgiving Level A Easy Reader Pack
This pack contains a level A reader 4 page booklet, 4 page level A reader with blank lines, and matching vocabulary cards. This can be used in small group or guided reading. Students are provided with a book with proper sight words. They may then recreate the book by writing on the blank lined booklet. Students will also benefit from the matching vocabulary cards. All of these products are in black and white and can be colored by the student.

Pumpkin Seed Read Aloud Lesson Plan

C-V-C Snowmen & Name Snowmen!
This a cute craft for students during the holiday season! I have differentiated and done this two different ways. One is for letter recognition, for students still having difficulty recognizing the letters in their name (or how to spell their name). The second is sounding out and creating C-V-C words!
Attached is a template to create the snowman, as well as a list of common C-V-C words! Just print onto construction paper and students can practice cutting as well:)

Counting hearts book
Have fun with numbers and colors!
Use this booklet in a small group. Children identify the numeral and color on each page and place that many hearts of that color on the page.
There are 3 level books- numbers 1-5; 5-9; 10-14.
Use colorful heart stickers or a heart stamp to complete the pages.
When finished, have children "read the book", touching each word/number.
For children who need additional help counting- make dots on the page. Each dot will receive a heart.

This is a very cute Thanksgiving Day story that I wrote and my daughter Bella drew. It teaches a wonderful story about not bragging and teasing others.
This is our first story collaboration and the illustrations came out lighter than we hoped. We promise our next ones will be darker :-)
