These are two great resources that work hand-in-hand. They can be used ANYTIME to create a fun learning experience for students moving around the room while reading real food labels. The themes I use are for holidays including Valentine's, St. Patrick's, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Students of all ages LOVE THIS!

Practice Science Lab and Report
In this week-long group activity, students will test three brands of the same product to determine which is the best product to use for the job it was intended. Students will assume leadership roles in the lab group and work to keep to a schedule during the week of lab activity. Included are specific directions and tips for the teacher plus a rubric which can be used to assess the performance of the students.
