This document provides a fun way to review macromolecules: carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. Students make a menu for their favorite athlete using a template that pushes them to explain their thinking. It also asks students to extrapolate the importance of these molecules for all living things from plants to bacteria. It can be used for 9th grade biology or for a nutrition course. There is both a standard version and an accommodated version with scaffolding for IEP and ELL students.
