I have been working with students for 9 years. I'm a very passionate teacher. I have taught Social Studies for the past 5 years. I've also taught 7th and 8th grade English/Language Arts. I currently a coach, mentor, and an aspiring educational leader at my school.
I strongly believe that all students are capable of success. I try to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for students. I want my students to understand that learning is a lifelong venture of positive and fulfilling experiences. My overarching goal as an educator is to motivate and inspire students to spark a positive change in the world. I try to teach students that success is always within reach, we only have to reach for it and strive for greatness.

I am prior military. I enlisted in the Army at the age of 17 and although I was only briefly in the military it helped shape me into the man I am today. I can contribute much of my success as an educator from various skills I learned while serving our country.
