TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Eight years teaching in a public high school in New Jersey.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm always trying to mix things up. I truly value academic rigor in writing, but also try to provide students with opportunities for project-based learning. I try to think about what students are going to need most for college and for their future careers and believe it comes down to being able to develop and articulate spoken and written arguments. The process of getting them to that point requires careful planning, creativity, and most of all, flexibility.
