TEACHING EXPERIENCE

3 1/2 years teaching 9th and 12th grade English 6 years teaching 8th grade English 7 years as HS Assistant Principal

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use both the Whole Brain Teaching and RISE/TESS teaching methods in my classroom lessons. I believe in making students accountable for their learning. I attempt to reach a level of learning where students are able to teach one another what they've learned. I feel this is a true measure of comprehension. I also like having fun while I teach! My students know I may be tough and expect a lot, but it is only because I care about their brains!
