Just to share a little bit about my experience, this is my fourth year of teaching. I've taught preschool (all boys), prekindergarten (all boys) and kindergarten (co-ed). As a kindergarten teacher, I taught STEM in the after-school STEM program for kindergarten. That was such a success, that I am now the STEM instructor for Kindergarten - Third Grade. I also provide materials to the preschool and prekindergarten classrooms on how they can include technology purposefully in their classrooms.

I was awarded a full scholarship to further my masters education in Early Childhood Special Education in December 2013. I will obtain my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education in October 2014.
Originally I went to college to receive an undergraduate degree in architecture but later switched to construction management. I decided to go into education after deciding construction wasn't for me. I became highly qualified to teach and found out I loved it. Now I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education and look forward to continuing on to study STEM Education.
I really love to create activities that engage and excite kids to want to learn. I use technology in my activities because I like the idea of students working purposefully and correctly, all while increasing independence and and the intrinsic motivation to learn.
