I have worked in the SC public schools since 2015, and have worked with a wide variety of disabilities including autism, cognition, vision impaired, genetic disorders, learning disabled, and general education population.
My teaching philosophy is that speech therapy is just a part of my job. The most important part of my job is relating to and caring for my students and making sure they know they have someone in their corner. As a result, I'm often hunting down activities and resources on TPT that I know will interest my students while saving me time. When I can't find exactly what I want, I make it myself and share with other educators in my own TPT store. There are about a hundred other things I'd rather be doing than cutting and laminating, so when I create my materials, I try to make them as easy to use as possible! I typically rotate weekly thematic units for general education groups and monthly units in self-contained classrooms. I enjoy finding real-world applications for skills while also keeping activities fun and engaging!

My TPT store supports our student programs at my Title I school, from our community garden (where the food is used in our cafeteria, and cafeteria food scraps are composted) to our 0.4 mile campus nature trail to free bike repair days for students. Thank you for purchasing and making these programs possible!
